Terms of Service
Effective date: July 4, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JigBoard website, web application, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by JigBoard ("JigBoard," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and "you" refers to that business.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
JigBoard provides scheduling, job tracking, quoting, inventory, and shop management software for job shops and custom manufacturers. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid plans, as described on our pricing page.
2. Accounts and Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your Shop and Team
The Service is organized around shops (workspaces). The shop owner and administrators control who can join their shop and what roles members have. You are responsible for the actions of the users you invite. Data entered by any member of your shop belongs to the shop, and departing members may lose access to it.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
- Free plan. We offer a free plan with limited features and usage. We may change the limits of the free plan with reasonable notice.
- Paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at your next renewal.
- Non-payment. If payment fails, we may downgrade or suspend your access to paid features after a reasonable grace period.
5. Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the data, files, and content you or your team submit to the Service ("Customer Content") — including jobs, quotes, customer records, photos, and file attachments. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit Customer Content solely as necessary to provide and support the Service.
You are responsible for your Customer Content, including having the right to upload it. We do not monitor Customer Content but may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
You can export your data (CSV exports of jobs, quotes, and reports) at any time while your account is active.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to access another shop's data or circumvent access controls
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Upload malicious code, or content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written agreement
- Use automated means to scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service
7. Third-Party Integrations
The Service integrates with third-party products such as QuickBooks Online and Stripe. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party products, and an integration's availability may change if the third party changes its APIs or terms.
8. Availability and Modifications
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, add, or remove features from time to time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give you reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to export your data.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, if your use poses a security risk or legal exposure to us or others, or if required by law. Where practical, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue before suspension. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by JigBoard and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or the Service's source code. We may use feedback you provide without restriction or obligation.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. JIGBOARD IS A MANAGEMENT TOOL — YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN BUSINESS DECISIONS, INCLUDING SCHEDULING COMMITMENTS, QUOTES, AND DELIVERY PROMISES MADE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JIGBOARD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (OR $100 IF YOU ARE ON THE FREE PLAN).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JigBoard from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
